We are just a couple of guys really into anything VW. dubqnp is our presence on the web so we can keep a history of cars we’ve owned and worked on.
Mark currently has recently sold his 1966 split screen van and his 1961 Karmann Ghia will be going up for sale very soon. The Karmann Ghia has had new suspension, brakes and the engine reconditioned. Marks just brought himself a VW Passat 2.0 tdi Sport which he’s spent no time at all modding. So far on the list to be fitted is a oem body kit from VW a set of 19″ rims and come November air ride. It’s going to look special.
Chris drives a MK5 Golf GT, and his wife owns a New Beetle V5 Sport. The Golf has been worked over the last four years and won best MK5 Golf at Ultimate Dubs in 2007. It’s going in to be cleaned up again within the next couple of months so photos will be posted. The New Beetle has been with us for six months and Charlie has already had the front and rear badges smoothed out as well as the rear centre brake light. Next up for it are some new rims.
